Cross-Platform Development with Flutter
Flutter is an open-source UI framework developed by Google using the Dart programming language. Its defining feature is the ability to produce iOS, Android, Web and Desktop applications from a single codebase. Thanks to Flutter's Skia/Impeller rendering engine, apps display consistently and with high performance across all platforms.
At Detartech we particularly favour Flutter for MVPs and early-stage products. The main reason is that it significantly reduces the cost and time of developing native iOS and Android apps separately. Being able to deploy to both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store with one team and one codebase is a major competitive advantage for startups and growth-stage companies.
