What difference does a team in the same city make for an Istanbul company?
Sharing a time zone and a business calendar makes it easier to schedule meetings and take decisions quickly. You do not have to explain public holidays, seasonal peaks or your campaign calendar. Our office is in Ümraniye, at the JustWork Ofis Kampüsü on Balkan Caddesi in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet neighbourhood. Meetings are held in Turkish and can be online or in person.
Our project management is still designed to work regardless of location. Progress is visible on a Jira or Linear board, there is a weekly status meeting, and every two-week sprint ends with a working demo. The convenience of being in the same city comes on top of a regular, written process.
Which sectors have we delivered projects for in Istanbul?
Istanbul's business life does not lean on a single sector, and neither do our Istanbul projects. Each one started from a different problem, so each solution was built on a different technology stack.
Healthcare: multilingual content and a safe migration
Eurofertil IVF Centre's bebekistiyorum.com also serves international patients who speak Russian and Arabic. The legacy ASP.NET WebForms site was rebuilt on Next.js, more than 1,200 URLs were preserved through a database-driven 301 layer, and the content team can now publish without developer help.
Legal tech: AI-assisted document management
Lextum AI brings together AI-assisted drafting of petitions and contracts, risk screening of contracts, real-time co-editing of the same document and a full version history on one platform. It runs on a microservice architecture built with Next.js, .NET, RabbitMQ and AWS.
E-commerce, fintech and event ticketing
The Anneekspres marketplace was built from scratch with Django and PostgreSQL. At Biletico we took over a platform where almost nothing worked and took it live with a canvas-based seating plan that lets organisers design their venues visually. For Finteo we delivered a design overhaul, new features and SEO work.
Industrial operations
Welldone Group Turkey ran its industrial laundry operations on spreadsheets and verbal coordination. A Flutter app in which field staff scan QR codes to pack items, together with a React web panel where managers plan shipments, moved the whole process onto one platform. For Ignis Trace, an industrial heat tracing firm, we added new screens, modules and SEO improvements to its web platform.
We have also worked on BiTalih's corporate content production platform, Togodo's social events app, Terazzi's construction and decoration platform and Adatech's WordPress site.
How should an Istanbul start-up begin an MVP?
For a start-up the first question is not "what should we build?" but "what do we want to validate?". Our MVP process starts by putting that question in writing and limits the scope to features that serve it. A typical MVP is delivered in 6 to 16 weeks depending on scope: a focused product with core features can ship in 6-8 weeks, while projects that need a mobile app or a complex backend can take 12-16 weeks. Progress stays visible on a test environment, and the code and accounts remain yours.
How does the system stay healthy after launch?
Biletico, Welldone, Anneekspres and Lextum AI all received an automated CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins. The goal is not only fast releases but testing every update, shipping it safely and being able to roll it back when needed. Thirty days of post-launch support are included, and a monthly maintenance package can follow.
